    This is a part time position, 15-30 hrs/week. Must be able to work weekdays and weekends when required

    What you bring to the team:

    Minimum 6 months experience in catering

    1 year commitment

    Suffolk County Food Manager Certified or willing to become certified

    Leadership abilities

    Excellent customer service

    Demonstrated knowledge of computers, office software and POS systems

    Knowledge and compliance with health, sanitary, and safety requirements

    Flexible hours – able to work weekdays and weekends when required

    Able to stand for long periods of time, occasionally lift heavy boxes, move quickly and have a sense of urgency

    Maintain a clean and work appropriate personal appearance

    Your day-to-day

    Perform all positions of the cafe including the duties of cashier, food/drink preparation, and cleaning for catering jobs as well as for general help in the cafe

    As an "order educator", you will educate customers on the ingredients and their health benefits

    Leading by example and exemplifying the qualities of high performance, reliability, accountability and integrity.

    Work as a partner with the supervisor and manager to deliver outstanding customer service

    Deliver quality standards for products and store environment, including the adoption and enforcement of health codes

    Marketing activities such as managing a booth at festivals and sampling events as well as developing and managing menus and promotional print

    Delivering, setting up, and managing catering orders with continuous follow-up

    Managing catering inventory - packaging and menu items
