JOB SUMMARY:  The Deal Accountant team is responsible for accurate and timely reporting of trade related activity covering more than 20 entities across the Americas. To achieve this requires strong internal system knowledge, the ability to proactively collaborate with various teams across the business and an eagerness to improve processes and systems to keep pace with commercial developments

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Regularly engaging in discussions with cross-function teams in order to understand the commercial activity we support
• Leading and participating in continuous projects aimed at integrating new businesses and identifying process/system improvements
• Maintaining strong internal systems controls by evaluating PNL results, verifying floating/tank storage volumes, ensuring accurate estimated costs, and clearing Vista exceptions
• Prepare monthly close adjusting entries for revenue recognition, inventory, and prepaid expenses
• Performing monthly reconciliations between Vista and the accounting general ledger (Vega)
• Participating in annual audits

Additional Information

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of ERP systems and high literacy in Excel
