Essential Functions
Support HR Director with compliance, reporting, and employee relations issues.
Assist in managing employee records with confidentiality, proactively auditing, and updating the HRIS with current information to ensure data integrity and cleanliness.
Provide support to employees with all HR-related topics and resolving issues with support of necessary relevant parties.
Assist with development, implementation and maintenance of all human resource policies and standard operating procedures (SOP) of the HR Department.
With HRD guidance and support, assist in training & development initiatives across the organization.
Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
Support employees and managers through complex employee relations matters and questions, with support and guidance of HRD as needed.
Assist in maintaining employee handbook, resources, and compliance notices and postings.
Assist in planning, developing, organize and implement various HR programs and projects on an as needed basis to support the growth of the organization and its employees.
Assist with collection of data needed to complete government compliance activities (5500s, audits, etc.), employee mailings, vendor billings, coordinating data collection and updating benefits reports to leadership.
Assures processes and procedures are in place to capture and maintain consistent and accurate benefit related data.
Supports annual benefits open enrollment and assists with benefits communications.
Assist with monthly HR Metrics as well as annual metrics and KPI reports as well as management of all regularly scheduled and as needed HR reports.
Assist with and contribute to updating of Employee Handbook as needed.
Proactively and creatively seek optimal candidates to fill positions, forming partnerships with schools and organizations as needed to fill the candidate pipeline.
Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs, requirements and develop sourcing strategies to identify and attract talent.
Candidate centric mindset ensuring that all candidates have positive experience throughout the interview process.
· Collaborate with hiring managers to create job descriptions in line with federal and state guidelines.
· Assist with ensure accurate documentation in applicant tracking system.
· Post jobs with various job boards, social media platforms, professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.
· Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
· Source candidates online and offline, review resumes and screen out applicants.
· Schedule and conduct phone screens.
· Accurate and timely communication with new hires, hiring managers and all relevant parties to ensure an the most effective and impactful orientation experience.
· Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
· Follow up with managers to confirm that check-ins with new hires are being completed at the 30-60-90-day mark.
· Assist with arranging management interviews by coordinating schedules and escorting applicants to interviews.
· Organize post-interview debrief/feedback with interview teams and candidates.
· Communicate employer information and benefits during the screening process.
· Schedule and manage the coordination of all in-person interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
· Function as a backup point of contact for prospects and interviewers during the recruiting process to ensure a positive experience.
Assist in coordinating all communication with candidates during the recruiting process to ensure a positive experience, as well as disposition candidates that have been passed on.
· Perform detailed reference checking and/or reference analysis on selected candidates and review results with hiring managers, to include initiation and monitoring of OIG reports.
· Facilitate CORI and all background checks as needed to be Compliance.
· Responsible for timely outreach to new hires to ensure completion of necessary pre-employment documentation, processes, collection, and organization, upkeep of new hire documents and uploading them into an electronic filing system.
· Record, maintain, and report CORI (criminal background check) results for entire organization.
· Cross training with other HRG and HR team members to provide coverage as needed.
· Ensure compliance with all recruitment and onboarding processes while maintaining confidentiality.
