    Staff Accountant with Procurement Exp.

    Direct Report: CFO

    This role will be a highly visible member of the accounting team, working closely with the CEO, CFO and Practice Administrator addressing key functional metrics to reduce expenses and enhance efficiency.

    Skills required:

    Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills needed.

    Experience in purchasing/procurement a must.

    Inventory management experience preferred.

    Experience using data visualization software a plus.

    Experience with NetSuite ERP a plus.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

    • Assist the CFO, CEO and Practice Administrator with maintaining the production of various departmental KPI’s as requested.
    • Synthesize complex data into meaningful business recommendations that drive financial and operational improvement.

    INVENTORY OVERSIGHT

    • Reconcile inventory discrepancies.
    • Build inventory reports for presentation to CFO.

    ACCOUNTING / PROCUREMENT

    • Improve existing processes, influence, and guide our supply chain and operations to make financially informed decisions.
    • Collaborate with the Company’s GPO to locate key suppliers and negotiate purchasing agreements with them to achieve the highest quality goods at the lowest prices possible.
    • Ensure the Company's materials and products meet all their required specifications.
    • Identify “products of choice” to be purchased across all offices for all vendors (i.e. Amazon, WB Mason, GPO, etc.)
    • Serve as a liaison and point of contact throughout the Company for several supply vendors (i.e. Amazon, WB Mason, medical supply GPO Provista, etc.)
    • Point person for setting up existing vendors with new offices (acquired offices and newly constructed offices)
    • Monitors all key vendors for product replacements, shortages and pricing fluctuations. Prepare monthly reports to review with CFO the financial impact of pricing changes and suggest alternative product replacements.

    OTHER

    Assist in other ad-hoc financial needs of the Company as requested.

    Experience required:

    Administrative experience 3 to 5 years+

    Experience working within a private practice healthcare setting a plus.

    Salary Range:

    $28/hr to $38/hr + benefits, depending on experience and proficiency

    Job Type: Full-time
