    ABOUT THIS ROLE:

    One of the many reasons Vitu continues to achieve success in the market is because of our Product Team’s collaborative nature and shared mindset to design sleek and innovative solutions that reduce our customer’s pain points. This is a highly visible role that will involve interfacing with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and the Executive Team) to drive technical, strategic and financial goals to achieve the company’s overall strategic goals. As part of the Product Management Team, you will assist in the definition, development, management and execution of software related to our Vitu product.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Manage a cross-functional team across the lifecycle of a software product including Requirement Management, Design, Development, Testing, Integration & Release Management
    • Gather market research and evaluate opportunities for new/existing software against corresponding business gaps; monitor and report on the current competitive landscape
    • Develop detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, market (MRD) and product (PRD) requirements document with well-defined, prioritized, features and justifications; clearly communicate objectives across functions
    • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally with key stakeholders and externally with key customers
    • Collaborate with Product Marketing to deliver a go-to-market plan; drive execution across all functions
    • Assist in the development of our multi-year product roadmap
    • Work closely with the Project Manager to prioritize and balance our resources, timeline, and Vitu product portfolio needs; assess product and project risks, provide risk mitigation & counter measures identified by project management and engineering team
    • Drive software product development, working closely with the engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable implementation schedule.
    • Establish, track and analyze product performance metrics; take action to address issues and/or opportunities
    • Stay abreast of and analyze market trends, forecasts and issues; be the internal expert for assigned product
    • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION)

    • BA/BS in any of the following: Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, Psychology or related technical / data analysis field; other degrees acceptable with consideration of demonstrated experiences and qualifications
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with product management or product design with a focus on software products and technologies; working with agile teams to deliver on-time, consistently
    • Experienced in product road mapping, R&D, and product sustainment activities.
    • Proven track record of displaying strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectives
    • Experienced in and is comfortable with presenting to executive leadership and key customers
