We are seeking a Junior Interior Designer to support the creative and operational execution of hospitality design projects across the VIVÂMEE portfolio. This role is designed for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, contribute meaningfully, and grow within a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

You will work closely with senior leadership, supporting both strategic design direction and day-to-day project needs, while learning directly from experienced designers. This is a hands-on role that requires initiative, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

    What You’ll Do

    • Support the design team in developing concepts, materials, and presentations for hospitality projects
    • Assist in creating design boards, renderings, and visual storytelling materials
    • Source furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes aligned with project vision and budgets
    • Help manage procurement including vendor communication, order tracking, and logistics
    • Assist with budgeting exercises and maintaining project cost awareness
    • Support on-site installations, styling, and activations across properties
    • Capture and create content for social media and marketing (photo, video, behind-the-scenes)
    • Maintain organized project files, schedules, and documentation
    • Assist in coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and partners

    Travel & Work Environment

This is an in-person, highly active role that requires consistent presence across both office and property environments.

    • Ability to travel to various VIVÂMEE properties multiple times per week (primarily across New Jersey and Maryland)
    • Availability to be in-office multiple days per week when not on-site (NJ or MD locations)
    • Willingness to support installations, site walks, and activations that may require early mornings or extended days
    • Comfort working in both creative studio settings and active construction / operational environments

    What You’ll Learn

    • How to translate vision into fully realized environments
    • The full lifecycle of hospitality design—from concept through execution
    • Procurement strategy, budgeting, and vendor management
    • How to design experiences, not just spaces
    • Installation, styling, and activation at a professional level
    • The intersection of design, operations, and guest experience

    Who You Are

    • Early in your design career (0–3 years experience or relevant internship experience)
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
    • Eager to learn and open to feedback
    • Willing to roll up your sleeves—this role requires both creative and physical involvement
    • Strong sense of accountability and follow-through
    • Passionate about design, hospitality, and creating meaningful environments
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
    • Positive, team-oriented, and aligned with a purpose-driven mission

    Tools & Skills

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and technical drawings
    • Experience with 3D rendering tools such as Revit (or similar platforms) to visualize design intent
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) for presentations and visual storytelling
    • Familiarity with sourcing platforms and basic procurement processes

    Bonus (Preferred, Not Required):

    • Experience using AI tools to support design workflows, ideation, or content creation
    • Basic understanding of FF&E budgeting and specifications
    • Photography or content creation skills for social media and brand storytelling
