    Job Description

    Reporting to the HR Director, the Talent Acquisition Manager will take ownership of driving the strategic direction and fulfillment of sourcing, recruitment, selection and onboarding for a $1B luxury manufacturing company in NW Houston. This is a full life cycle talent acquisition role with high impact, visibility and influence within the company.

    Local Candidates Preferred – No relocation support is available.

    THIS ROLE IS NOT 100% VIRTUAL.  IT IS A HYBRID WORK ARRANGEMENT WHERE YOU WILL WORK IN-OFFICE PERIODICALLY (40 - 70%) AS BUSINESS NEEDS DEMAND.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO IN THIS ROLE…

    • Develop the strategic vision of the company’s hiring approach; coming up with a dynamic recruiting process (and philosophy) and innovative sourcing plans to attract top talent with a focus on both corporate and light industrial roles.
    • Source and recruit great prospective candidates into the consideration process.
    • Create and publish attractive job postings, review candidate resumes, screen and interview prospects and partner with managers on recruitment needs.
    • Develop meaningful relationships with candidates, to learn critical insights about motivations, capabilities, fit and readiness to join the company.
    • Perform a mixture of analysis of recruitment data; establish and maintain KPIs for recruitment including DE&I, quality hire, time-to-fill, candidate pipeline/funnel, and statuses.
    • Lead and direct the energies and performance of a Talent Acquisition Specialist, coaching and developing them to assist with sourcing needs, recruitment support, interview scheduling, resume review, ATS management and other tasks to maximize team performance.  
    • Drive HR/Recruitment + Hiring Manager business partnership. Building sustainable and trusting relationships so that you can generate buy-in, bring leaders along a change journey and create momentum to align best-in-class strategies for attracting talent.

    LOCATION: NW Houston

    COMPENSATION: $85K - $108K, + Discretionary Bonus

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor degree
    • MUST HAVE at least 8 years of Recruiting and Talent Acquisition experience
    • MUST HAVE previous experience utilizing major Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like iCIMS, SAP SuccessFactors, Taleo, BrassRing, Workday, ADP, UltiPro, Lever, Greenhouse or other cloud-based ATS.
    • MUST HAVE experience with high-volume operations, especially within manufacturing/production industries, with large hourly and light industrial roles.
    • MUST HAVE strong sense of accountability, ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and actively manage competing priorities.

    ROCK STAR SKILLS (nice to have, but not required)

    • Experience with and understanding of other HR functions (HR, Benefits, Payroll, Onboarding, HRIS, etc.) to effectively make recommendations for improvements
    • ATS/HRIS implementation experience
    • Track record of building and supporting a recruiter/sourcer roles
    • Experience working in a sales/manufacturing/distribution environment
    • Excel experience (pivot tables, v-lookups, basic formulas)
    • Creative, upbeat and optimistic

    WHAT MAY SLOW DOWN YOUR CONSIDERATION

    • Lack of experience in large organizations with +300 employees
    • No clear information in your resume about ATS experience, depth, specific software
    • Staying less than 2 years in each role (this employer values steady tenure)
    • More than 3 years at the Director level (as this is a true Manager-level position)
    • Lack of experience managing full life cycle recruitment strategy and ideation
    • Lack of organizational skills, ability to plan and do basic project management
