    Job Description

    POSITION:               INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER – VIDEO

    LOCATION:              BAY AREA, CA (REMOTE TO START)

    DURATION:              LONG TERM CONTRACT

    CLIENT:                    HCL/FACEBOOK

     

    ·        Responsible for analyzing the training need, collecting and organizing the content, and defining the intended audience for the course. Content can be in the form of a video, eLearning module, PDF, Word doc, software application or PowerPoint.

    ·        Conceptualize content outline & type of content needs based on the business need.

    ·        Create learning documents for the course, such as the Design Document and Storyboard, which will include formal outlines and audio scripts etc.

    ·        Coordinate with cross functional stakeholders to gather information.

    ·        Experience in end-to-end content development [intake, requirements doc, creation, edit, launch].

    ·        Good to have supply chain experience.

    ·        Proficient in design and development of graphics, infographics, tables, charts and process flows

    ·        Experience in creating content using E-learning and video documentation tools such as Camtasia

    ·        Experience in instructional design of training content, including design and development of interactive content authoring tools, including Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    ·        Any prior experience in documentation of Supply Chain Management domain would be a plus

    ·        Prior experience of leading training team including content creation team. Training material created for e-learning & instructor lead trainings.

    ·        Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced work environment is critical for success

    ·        Must currently live in the SF Bay area or be willing to immediately relocate to the job location

    ·        Excellent communication & Analytical skills

    ·        Comfortable managing multiple projects and meeting schedule milestones and deadlines
