    VIVOTEK INC., established in Taiwan in 2000, has quickly grown into a prestigious leading manufacturer in the network video surveillance industry. VIVOTEK spun off its SoC division into a wholly-owned subsidiary in 2007, namely VATICS, which focuses on multimedia SoC development and sales. To keep pace with rapid sales growth, it established a US subsidiary in California in 2008 to offer sales, support and service.

     The RMA Coordinator will play a key role in the customer service. This position reports to the RMA Supervisor. The ideal candidate can follow and develop processes and willing to take on additional duties. This position is responsible for receiving customer product returns and performing post return analysis. Responsible for meeting and improving established Service Level metrics.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    l   Process product warranty returns and conduct product failure analysis, through testing and inspection

    l   Conduct functional and aesthetic inspection on product returned before restocking them

    l   Perform Packaging and Re-packaging activities for product returns and Product Refurbished Projects

    l   Meet and exceed internal and external goals and metrics

    l   Maintain daily productivity by working closely with Warehouse, Inside Sales, Technical Support, as required

    l   Maintain, review and update process documentation on a regular basis - spreadsheets, monthly reports, and department paperwork

    l   Creating new documents as required - Review current processes on a regular basis and implement new processes as required

    REQUIREMENTS

    l   Associate degree or proven related experience desired

    l   1-2 years of experience on RMA, logistics and/reverse logistic

    l   Understanding and adherence to Support / Operations Best Practices is a must

    l   Good written and verbal communication skills

    l   Must work well in a fast-paced environment with dynamic requirements and priorities

    l   Experience with Quality Control Practices is a plus

    l   Must be observant and very good at paying attention to detail and committed to managing problems through resolution

    l   Being adept with MS Office tools such as Word, Excel and Outlook are a must

    l   Experience with SAP is a plus

    l   Return or Warranty administration experience for a hardware vendor would be useful

    l   Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs. with no supervision
