VIVOTEK spun off its SoC division into a wholly owned subsidiary in 2007, namely VATICS, which focuses on multimedia SoC development and sales. To keep pace with rapid sales growth, it established a US subsidiary in California in 2008 to offer sales, support and service.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

       Position generally supports Regional Sales Managers; duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Respond to sales inquiries from both phone calls and e-mails.
    • Makes outgoing customer calls or cold calls in order to promote products, trainings, or tradeshows.
    • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions. Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction.
    • Provide accurate information regarding pricing and availability of in-stock items to existing customers. Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed
    • Coordinate Project Registration process and loaner / demo cameras with sales managers
    • Fill requests for catalogs, information, or samples, and set up and maintain customer files
    • Work with Technical Support Team to make sure Return Merchandise Authorizations are being processed correctly and on-time for clients.
    • Operate as the inside support for regional sales managers on all matters related to accounts within the assigned territory. Collaborate with sales team to ensure growth attainment.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Identify and grow opportunities with accounts under the assigned territory.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned

      REQUIREMENTS

    • At least 1 year related experience supporting a Sales team
    • Some college preferred
    • Strong computer skills, using Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint,  MS Outlook), etc.
    • Familiarity with SAP preferred
    • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Ability to work/communicate with various departments
    • Strong customer service skills
