RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating the A&E/C technical training program.  Creates literature and materials to be use in Engineering programs and designs exercise to enhance course training materials.
• Plan and implement a targeted effort to work with decision makers for A&E/C specifications to understand their needs and then provide the educational seminars, technical advice or plan review necessary to improve and expand the use of Video Security products.
• Drive demand among the A&E and end-user community throughout the U.S. market. This individual will specifically develop and expand relationships with security design consultants, architects, engineers and specifiers while being responsible for leveraging all the company's products to provide and present our channel with integrated Solutions.
• Develop and implement product solution presentations for the Consultant & Engineering community pertaining to the company's complete line of products and solutions
• Drive specification rate of solutions and conversion of competitor specification to capture market share
• Coordinate project implementation and sales strategies with the regional teams
• Develop and implement methods for product and consultative selling techniques for RSM’s
• Cross connect with counterparts in key SIA partners to drive the solution sale
• Must bring a high quantitative level of energy in prospecting new contacts and develop
• A critical mass of face-to-face communication with A&E/C audience
• Contribute to the development of marketing communications such as social media content
• Understand, promote and make general use of Revit and BimObject content

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 1 year of experience in the Video Security Industry
• RCDD Certification Preferred
• Self-motivated in first learning what is needed, then developing content to be successful in this new role, while working across the VU team
• Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively in written responses to emails, RFPs and reporting
• Participate in key associations and forums promoting VIVOTEK as a world class supplier within the IP Video segment of the security industry
• Knowledge and/or hands-experience with IP Cameras, NVR’s and VMS
• Experience in one or more of the following A&E tools, CMD Insight, BimObject, and BSD Speclink
• Excellent oral presentation skills, interpersonal communication, and writing skills
• A strong “stage presence” and ability to manage a classroom of adult learners
• Self-sufficient, self-started with proven success taking ownership of the A&E training projects
• Ability to travel throughout North America;  Travel will be about 70%
