JOB DESCRIPTION
- The Sr. Digital UX Designer is an integral part of the Digital team with the mission to transform and improve the digital ecosystem within Healthcare. He/She is someone with a passion for simplifying complex problems and driving projects toward clarity. The ideal candidate is a brilliant problem solver, quick study, self-starter, and excellent communicator. In this role, you will be asked to own big design problems within Healthcare, work extremely collaboratively and cross-functionally, and deliver high-quality designs, including wireframes, user flows, and detailed specs for engineering.
- The position collaborates closely with other designers, engineers, product managers, clinicians, and data scientists to define problems and goals. Communicate design concept ideas through keynotes, wireframes, and user flows. Iterates and critiques their own work and the work of others on the team to create the best design solution for a given problem. Thinks through edge cases and delivers detailed UX specs to engineering for implementation. Work within a schedule to deliver high-quality work on time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Seven plus years’ experience crafting extraordinary user interface designs for iOS, desktop or web platforms.
- Provide a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates UX/UI experience
- Proficient in Sketch, Photoshop, Keynote, and other design tools.
- A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates UX design skills and knowledge.
- Work enthusiastically in an iterative design process, inspired by group critique.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED Required Preferred:
- Experience with health apps/programs/data
- Bachelors’ Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Science, Communication Design, Graphic Design, Media Arts or similar preferred
