Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists, Inc. (VRSI) has a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) position open in our River Falls office.

VRSI is a veteran-owned agency that provides free employment services to qualifying veterans in the community. We have 12 offices located in Wisconsin, California, Florida, Iowa, and Nebraska. The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial reports for the company.

Job Duties:

Bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online

Creating and Maintaining Corporate Spreadsheets

Preparing Financial Statements

Monthly Reconciliations

Brief senior managers regularly on the company's financial status

Supervise Accountant/Administrative Assistants

Audit Financial Transactions and Documents

Assist with Standard Operating Procedures

Multitask and Prioritize Projects by Importance or Deadlines

Qualifications:

Proven work experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and a CPA certification

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail

Advanced MS Excel knowledge

Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures

Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Experience with Non-profit (preferred)

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday (0800-1630 or 0830-1700)

Hourly Rate:

· $40.00 - 55.00 per hour based on experience
