Case Manager/Employment Specialist (Helping Veterans Find Employment)
Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists Inc. (VRSI) has a full-time Employment Specialist position available in our Eau Claire office.
The Employment Specialist is responsible for performing the day-to-day delivery of reintegration services for Veterans who are at risk of losing housing. The Employment Specialist will work closely with Veterans to ensure the service reflects the veteran’s needs, abilities, and employment goals. They will coach, support, and monitor Veterans in the initial stages of employment and maintain relations with employers.

Coach and Prepare Candidates for Interviews
Individual Employment Planning
Manage social media grant accounts
Creating and Maintaining Corporate Spreadsheets
Audit Document
Assist with Standard Operating Procedures
Multitask and Prioritize Projects by Importance or Deadlines
Any other task as needed by Lead, Regional Lead and/or Program Manager
Bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online
Creating and Maintaining Corporate Spreadsheets
Preparing Financial Statements
Monthly Reconciliations
Onboarding New Hires
Support to Program Managers and Administrative Assistants
Audit Financial Transactions and Documents
Assist with Standard Operating Procedures
Multitask and Prioritize Projects by Importance or Deadlines
Completing Tasks assigned by regional lead to assist as needed.
Auditing office files, reports, and other documents as need to ensure compliance with DOLVETS standards
Attention to detail is needed to be successful in this position.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Associate degree in business, Counseling, Vocational Rehabilitation, or related field.
Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in job development, recruiting, or counseling.
Use of personal vehicle for outreach with mileage reimbursement
Must work independently and as a team member.
Excellent writing, counseling, and communication skills.
Business skills to conduct job searches.
Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Monday – Friday (0800-1630 or 0830-1700)
Hourly Rate:
$18.00 - $23.00 based on experience
