About the Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and professional voice teacher with expertise in Carnatic vocal music to join our team part-time at North Fulton School of Music in Alpharetta, GA.

Carnatic voice is a classical South Indian music tradition that emphasizes intricate melodic (raga) and rhythmic (tala) structures, vocal ornamentation, and improvisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Carnatic technique and performance, as well as a passion for teaching students of all ages and skill levels in a supportive and engaging environment.

Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in performance or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is $30-$32 per hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job. Health insurance options are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble. ****

This posting is for North Fulton School of Music. We offer piano, guitar, voice, drums and other instrument lessons to children ages six and up and cater to all levels including beginner, intermediate, and advanced. North Fulton School of Music® welcomes adults as well.
