    Volcon ePowersports is currently hiring a Graphic Designer. The Graphic Designer will promote the Volcon brand and products through designing print and digital advertising, POP/POS collateral as well as decals and signage. They will collaborate and take direction from the Brand Manager to plan and execute proactive A/B testing of different creative as well as work closely with the digital team to make sure.

    Job Requirements

    • Create digital and print ads based on brand guidelines and seasonal visual centers.
    • Design support materials for product launches, media kits, product spec sheets, social media posts.
    • Design POP and in-store promotions, dealer Co-Op ads, digital, print, OOH.
    • Design product manuals.
    • Design packaging.
    • Advanced knowledge of and proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Strong professional and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbal and in writing.
    • A keen attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage a flexible schedule, and prioritize daily workload.
    • Ability to multi task and thrive in a fast paced work environment.
    • A self-starter with good organizational and time management skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Development of media strategies, tactics and KPIs that support marketing initiatives
    • Reaching out to media vendors to solicit proposals, negotiate and purchase media
    • Day-to-day maintenance of media flowcharts, budgets, media schedules and invoices
    • Providing ongoing reporting, analytics and insights to justify media expenditures and tactics
    • Regular vendor communication including proactive outreach to discuss new media opportunities
    • Keeping current on traditional and online marketing technologies and innovations
    • Assisting Senior Media Managers with day-to-day workload
    • Develop and pitch stories to trade, local, and national media, both endemic and non-endemic
    • Write and distribute news releases
    • Help oversee and execute tactics from strategic media plans and editorial calendars to generate regional/national/international coverage
    • Proactively pitch news and feature story ideas to the media and develop long-term projects to promote key products, programs, and initiatives
    • Help organize and orchestrate media events when appropriate
    • Educate media and regularly build and foster relationships
    • Quickly and successfully address inbound media requests in a tactful, pleasant and professional manner, in collaboration with agency teams as required.
    • Develop press-related materials like media alerts/blog posts/announcements, pitches, media lists, executive press briefing documents, press kits, and internal emails. Help create helpful and clear messaging including Q&A and talking points for team members.
    • Regularly refine, finesse, and evaluate media strategies to ensure maximum effectiveness. Pivoting in real time based on what's working/what's not working is crucial for this role

    Minimum Education and Experience

    • Bachelors in Graphic Design or related field
    • Preferred 5 years of media buying and PR experience

    About You

    • Detail-oriented, organized and able to work in collaboration with teammates to execute of media plans and buys
    • Be flexible and able to effectively communicate and manage great relationships with press, co-workers and vendors
    • Strategic thinking and an ability to gather, review and organize large quantities of information in order to make well-informed media purchasing decisions
    • Strong media relations experience either within a major corporate environment or at an agency level
    • Experience or at least familiarity with internal communications
    • Tech-savvy
    • Excellent writer with demonstrated ability to translate complex material into commercial writing
    • Experience with issues and crisis management
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven ability to identify trends, willingness to negotiate with journalists and collaborate with colleagues.
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills, detail-oriented.
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
