POSITION: CUSTOMER SERVICE/SALES REPRESENTATIVE
LOCATION: CORONA CA (ONSITE)
REPORTS TO: SALES MANAGER
STATUS: NON-EXEMPT/HOURLY,
SCHEDULE: MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 8 - 5 PM OR 9 - 6 PM

POSITION OVERVIEW
The E-Commerce Customer Service Representative reports to the Sales Manager and is responsible for assisting our customers via online with product information, platform editing, and overall communication to streamline concerns, inquiries, and exposure to our products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
ANSWER AND MANAGE INBOUND CUSTOMER INQUIRIES VIA EMAIL AND LIVE CHATS.
COMPOSE OUTBOUND EMAILS WITH TACT, DIPLOMACY, AND RESPECT WITH ALL INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS.
ASSESS, TROUBLESHOOT, AND PROVIDE PROBLEM RESOLUTION IN A TIMELY MANNER TO ALL CUSTOMER INQUIRIES.
DOCUMENT CUSTOMER RECORDS ACCURATELY TO REFLECT STATUS OF SERVICES RENDERED AT ALL TIMES.
UTILIZE OUR PLATFORM TO MAINTAIN, UPDATE, AND EDIT DATABASE INFORMATION INCLUDING PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER INFORMATION.
ADMINISTER RETURN POLICY ACCORDING TO VOLCUS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
MAINTAIN ONLINE VENDOR PORTALS WITH CURRENT INFORMATION.
GENERATES AD HOC REPORTS AS REQUIRED.
STAYS CURRENT ON PRODUCT INFORMATION.
ASSIST AND COMPLY WITH IMPLEMENTATION OF WORKFLOW CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTS.
USES EXCEL AND MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS TO ENTER DATA AND MAINTAIN SPREADSHEETS.
PERFORMS GENERAL OFFICE DUTIES.
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
SPECIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS
1-2 YEARS OF B2B CUSTOMER SERVICE/MARKETING SUPPORT EXPERIENCE, PREFERRED.
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, REQUIRED. ASSOCIATE OR BACHELOR’S DEGREE PREFERRED.
INSIDE/OUTSIDE SALES EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
DETAIL-ORIENTED AND STRONG ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS, SPECIFICALLY VIA COMPUTER.
ORDER PROCESSING EXPERIENCE, STRONGLY DESIRED.
2 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE IN DATA ENTRY.
GOOD WORKING KNOWLEDGE WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE - ADVANCED SKILLS IN EXCEL. ORACLE NETSUITE A PLUS.
INTEREST IN E-COMMERCE TOYS BUSINESS.
EXCELLENT VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
MUST HAVE ABILITY TO PERFORM IN A FAST-PACED, QUICK REACTION ENVIRONMENT, WITH A POSITIVE ATTITUDE.
MUST BE ABLE TO KEEP AN EVEN LEVEL OF COMPOSURE IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES.
GOAL ORIENTED; ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY.
EFFECTIVE PROBLEM SOLVING AND CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is primarily sedentary working in front of a computer in an air-controlled environment. Frequent use of eyesight, fingering, and ability to sit for long periods is required.
