Job Description
INTERNSHIP PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
MARKETING
Help execute social media marketing campaigns and strategies through Facebook, Instagram, Blog, Twitter, Meetup, Google +, and more!
Develop content for social media and blog with a heavy emphasis on content marketing
Assist with email marketing design, strategies, and execution.
Execute digital sponsorship activations
Design and implement on-field marketing as well as tabling at community events.
Strategize, develop and coordinate local grassroots marketing opportunities
Collaborate with the local market to curate new and innovative marketing initiatives
Sales calls to team captains to inform them of upcoming events and registration deadlines
OPERATIONAL
Assist with league audits & evaluations
Provide facility and field maintenance as needed; suggest venue improvements
Increase brand awareness and registration numbers through community events and marketing
Inventory and upkeep of sports equipment and shirts
Assist with data entry, game reports, customer service inquiries and scheduling
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Works well in a team atmosphere, and requires low supervision/direction
Currently enrolled in college and able to receive class credit
Punctual and professional, but embraces a "work hard, play hard" attitude
Self-reliant and eager to take on any task - no matter how big or small
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Self-directed leader who takes initiative and a solutions-oriented approach to problem solving; demonstrates a willingness to learn and improve
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Experience working with social media, email marketing, and content development
Graphic design experience
Self-starter, well-spoken, outgoing
Detail-oriented, ability to multitask and meet deadlines
A passion for sports and community
