Job Description

Volo Baltimore is looking for a talented and dynamic student who craves learning new skills to join us as a virtual gaming Sports Management Intern. You will be trained in all aspects of sports management and running premier adult and youth recreational leagues, with a large emphasis on our virtual gaming trivia events. Training will include an overview of: sales and business development, customer service, game experience, game operations, and more. This is an unpaid internship offered for academic credit in lieu of financial compensation. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Hosting and scoring virtual online trivia 

• Building a database with new questions and helping fact check answers for virtual trivia

• Customer service and promoting brand awareness

• Assisting with planning and implementing digital marketing

• Administrative or clerical support for all departments including captain calls 

• Assisting the operations and customer service teams with data entry, game reports, and virtual game maintenance and operations

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Ability to multi-task and make decisions under pressure

• Possess a positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearly

• Passion for sports and social activities

• Outgoing and ready to handle anything presented
