    Voloridge Investment Management is looking for a Recruiter / Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong drive and willingness to meet the demands of a fast-paced team. Our Recruiter / Human Resources Coordinator will help meet the talent acquisition demands of a growing quantitative investment management firm seeking top talent, organize HR activities provide administrative recruiting support to the Lead Recruiter and assist with other HR tasks as we all strive to accomplish the organization’s goals.

    Summary of Job Functions

    • Perform full life-cycle recruitment process by posting open positions, screening resumes, conducting phone screens, managing the interview process, and coordinating on-site visits while being highly responsive to both candidates and hiring managers.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers and other HR team members to analyze hiring processes, and continually strive to improve them, including increased automation, usability, transparency and documentation.
    • Assist with our annual internship program by screening resumes, pre-screening qualified candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting phone screens, coordinating housing, assisting with the summer event calendar, and scheduling internal meetings/activities.
    • Facilitate college recruiting efforts and other diversity initiatives by attending and assisting with the coordination of career fairs, job fairs, and industry conferences.
    • Coordinate and verify pre-employment reference and/or background checks.
    • Complete Forms I-9, verify I-9 documentation and maintain I-9 files.
    • Prepare and distribute new hire materials and orientation schedules
    • Provide direct administrative support to the HR team by scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence and agendas, creating reports, maintaining files and updating employee lists and databases.
    • Assist with planning and coordinating on- and off-site events and activities.
    • Provide backup to administrative staff as needed.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
    • 2-5 years of recruiting/HR experience required.
    • Must be able to lift up to 15-25 pounds at times.

    Preferred Skills and Previous Experience

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Basic knowledge of HR best practices.
    • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
