Summary of Job Functions

• Participate in supporting and maintaining all Linux Server Operating Systems, AWS cloud instances and related functions and services.
• Maintain system patching levels, ensure current system backups, and analyze systems for performance tuning.
• Perform root cause analysis on incidents on supported systems hardware and OS/software.
• Experience in automation technologies such as Ansible
• Knowledge of lift and shift migration techniques for multiple workloads from on-prem to cloud
• Ability to administer cloud portals including Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Setting up and configuring new cloud-based environments
• Maintaining and troubleshooting cloud-based systems and applications
• Providing guidance and best practices for using the AWS platform

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or another related field
• 5+ years' experience in a Cloud\Linux Engineer role
• Experience with Kubernetes desired
• Amazon AWS Certification a plus
• Experience with Ubuntu Linux a plus
• Experience in Finance Industry desired
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
