Job Description

Our Operations Team works together in a collaborative entrepreneurial environment, designed to meet the Voloridge mission of delivering superior risk-adjusted returns using proprietary modeling techniques. The Operations Intern will join the team to assist our Trading Operations Team and Chief Operating Officer, completing project-based research designed to support trading, finance, and other activities essential to the ongoing operations of Voloridge.

SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTIONS

• Working on projects for COO across trading, middle office and investor relations. 
• Assist with creation and maintenance of reporting framework for trading group
• Perform data quality checks during implementation of portfolio management system
• Conduct outside market research and present at periodic meetings

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Junior or Senior in Computer Science / Finance / Accounting
• Proficiency in Excel (Creating worksheet formulas, extract and validate data, advanced filters and merge workbooks, VBA)
• Strong math background through demonstrated course work
• Programming experience preferred (Python, SQL, C#)
