Position Description

Under the general direction of the IT Manager, the System Administrator performs a variety of technical tasks in the area of computer systems and networks:

Summary of Job Functions

• Participate in supporting and maintaining all Server Operating Systems and applications
• Maintain system patching, ensure current backups, analyze systems for performance tuning
• Perform root cause analysis on incidents on supported systems hardware and OS/software
• Increase/improve automation of Virtual Machine provisioning & configuration
• Ability to administer cloud portals including AWS and Office365
• Recommend best practices on configuring Cloud-based environment
• Knowledge of lift and shift migration techniques for workloads from on-prem to cloud

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or another related field
• 5+ Years Windows Server / Active Directory experience
• 5+ Years Cloud Experience – AWS preferred
• Ability to work in Jupiter Office 4-5 Days per week

Preferred Skills and Previous Experience

• VMware ESXi setup and administration or other Hypervisor
• Network management – Experience with Cisco & Palo Alto preferred
• Linux experience - Debian/Ubuntu preferred
• Office 365 management
• Data center systems management – Dell hardware experience preferred
