We have an immediate opportunity for a contract or full-time hire to work on and IoT solution.  It includes the edge device and the cloud backend.

Job duties and day to day activities:

• Working with a talented, cross-functional, distributed team in an agile environment
• Writing Go code.  Refactoring Go code. Testing Go code.
• Deploying code in Docker.

Requirements

• 3+ years professional software development
• 1+ years developing in Golang
• 2+ years experience in Agile development methodologies
• 1+ years experience with distributed or micro-service environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree
• Take pride in your work.  DevOps oriented – you build it, you get to support it and make it better
• Can't imagine a project without Source Control and peer reviews
• Deployments have to be automated – no manual poking the buttons. Our solutions have to run, scale and grow automatically.
• Excellent Communications.  Fluent in English, experience with remote teams, enough documentation to work across time zones.
• Excited to try new technologies without too much hand-holding
