Organizational Overview Do you like the idea of helping bring safety and peace of mind to low-income, elderly and disabled members of our community? Want to put that enthusiasm and your strong interpersonal skills to work supporting no-cost home-repair services?

Rebuilding Together Peninsula (RTP) is looking for an energetic, creative individual and team player to help us attract and retain key volunteers and make sure eligible prospective clients know about our services.

We believe that a healthy community starts with safe and livable homes. As the go-to agency for home safety repairs in San Mateo County and northern Santa Clara County for nearly 40 years, RTP ensures that vulnerable homeowners have safe homes and nonprofit agencies have safe facilities from which to provide services. We service approximately 100 homeowners and nonprofit facilities annually.

Harnessing the power of volunteerism by bringing community members together to revitalize our neighborhood homes and spaces, RTP hosts two annual Rebuilding Days, partnering with up to 30 sponsored volunteer teams to repair homes and community facilities throughout the Peninsula. These projects are made possible through the leadership of skilled volunteer captains. RTP is one of the largest of over 100 affiliates of the national Rebuilding Together Inc., a nonprofit network. We have an operating budget of $3 million and benefit from nearly $300K in donated materials and labor annually. We’re passionate about our role supporting families and revitalizing local neighborhoods, and we value the initiative and input of our staff to best meet the need.
