Job Summary:
The Volunteer role involves providing support and assistance to patients and their families in a hospice setting. Volunteers contribute to the overall care and comfort of patients, help with various tasks, and provide companionship. This position is essential in enhancing the quality of life for patients and supporting the hospice care team.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
Environmental Conditions:
Working in clients home under various conditions, possible exposure to blood and body fluids and infectious diseases. Needs the ability to work flexible hours and travel locally. May have some exposure to unpleasant weather. Must have Hepatitis profile. Working in the office in a routine office environment.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting and standing is required. Occasional lifting, pulling, carrying and pushing items up to 50 lbs. Requires the ability to handle stressful conditions in a calm and courteous manner to meet the client or employer’s needs. Requires good hand to eye coordination and excellent problem solving.
