Volunteer opportunities vary based on community needs and program availability and may include working with children, seniors, families, or assisting with agency operations and special events.

Classroom Volunteer (Head Start / Early Head Start & Life's Academy)
Office / Administrative Volunteer
Maintenance & Grounds Volunteer
VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Volunteer
Volunteer roles and schedules vary based on program needs, background requirements, and availability.
Support STEP programs and services serving children, families, seniors, and the community
Provide assistance under the direction of STEP staff
Serve as positive representatives of STEP within the community
Follow all applicable safety, confidentiality, and program guidelines
Individuals 18 years or older (some roles may have additional age requirements)
Ability to work respectfully with diverse populations
Dependable and willing to complete required screenings or training
Background checks may be required for certain volunteer roles (especially those working with children or vulnerable populations)
