Volvo Cars Orange County is hiring for an experienced Automotive Service Technician / Mechanic.  Volvo Cars Orange County is Orange County's premier Volvo dealership and is home to one of the top Volvo Service Departments.  We are looking to add to our team!

The Automotive Service Technician / Mechanic performs diagnosis, repair and replacement of automotive parts and accessories according to technical certification and skill level. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Perform work as outlined on repair order accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.  Notify the service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is needed or required
• Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
• Document work performed
• Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the lead technician for assistance.

Service Technician / Mechanic - Requirements:

• Willingness to learn the brand
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Working knowledge of shop equipment 
• Volvo experience preferred
