Job Title: Line Cook
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that meet our customers' expectations. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver dishes that are timely and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with recipes and standards • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies • Cook proteins, vegetables, and other menu items in a timely and efficient manner • Monitor food stock levels and order supplies when needed • Keep the kitchen and work area clean and always organized • Ensure that all food is stored, handled, and prepared safely and hygienically • Assist with menu planning and development • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of food • Follow all kitchen and restaurant procedures, policies, and standards
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certificate preferred • Proven experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment • Good communication and teamwork skills • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 pounds • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
