Job Responsibilities:  Manage and grow existing business, pursue new customers and opportunities within territory covering northern Illinois and Iowa  Provide appropriate and effective solutions for customer needs and challenges  Maintain consistent communication with existing and potential customers through in person sales calls, phone calls, and email  Provide adequate understanding of product knowledge as well as customer application needs to offer optimal solutions  Focus on customer service and solving customers' problems  Occasional travel overnight within territory  Attend scheduled trade shows and sales meetings as required Job Requirements:  Bachelor's degree  Experience in Outside Sales/Account Management required; background in conveyor belts, industrial supply/distribution, or automation preferred  Organizational time management, and communication skills  Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office Software  Valid driver's license  Team-oriented attitude and solution seeking mentality Benefits:  75k-90k Salary + Commission  Medical/Dental/Vision insurance  Short and Long term Disability  401K Plan  Company Vehicle + Travel Expenses  Paid Time Off Company Description Voss Belting and Specialty Company is a specialty belt house providing quality solutions for flat conveyor belts, timing belts, and high temperature fabric since 1934.
