ABOUT VOTE FORWARD
VOTE FORWARD IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT BUILDS TOOLS TO ENCOURAGE AVERAGE CITIZENS TO REGISTER AND SHOW UP TO VOTE. WE WORK TO INCREASE THE PARTICIPATION OF TRADITIONALLY UNDER-REPRESENTED GROUPS IN THE ELECTORATE, AND TO INCREASE CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AMONG THE PUBLIC AT LARGE BY SUPPORTING THE VOLUNTEERS WORKING TO ENGAGE THESE VOTERS.
SINCE 2018, OVER 200,000 GRASSROOTS VOLUNTEERS HAVE USED THE VOTE FORWARD PLATFORM TO SEND HAND-WRITTEN LETTERS TO MORE THAN 18 MILLION PROSPECTIVE VOTERS TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO REGISTER TO VOTE AND TURN OUT FOR ELECTIONS.
VOTE FORWARD IS CLOSELY AFFILIATED WITH SWING LEFT, A GRASSROOTS NETWORK OF 600,000+ VOLUNTEERS LED BY PROFESSIONALS FROM THE TECH, MEDIA, FINANCE, NONPROFIT AND ART WORLDS IN COLLABORATION WITH VETERAN POLITICAL ORGANIZERS AND STRATEGISTS. VOTE FORWARD STAFF WORK WITH SWING LEFT ON MANY PROJECTS OF MUTUAL INTEREST.
OVERVIEW
THE DATA AND RESEARCH ANALYST SUPPORTS VOTE FORWARD'S AMBITIOUS EXPERIMENTAL AND RESEARCH AGENDA THROUGH DATA ANALYSIS AND COMMUNICATION. THIS ROLE REPORTS TO THE DATA AND RESEARCH DIRECTOR AND IS AN AT-WILL POSITION THAT WE ANTICIPATE WILL END AFTER THE 2022 ELECTION CYCLE, WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION INTO THE 2024 ELECTION CYCLE IF YOU AND THE ORGANIZATION DECIDE TO EXTEND THE EMPLOYMENT.
RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF EXPERIMENTS, STRATEGY, TOOLS, AND DATA TO INCREASE THE EFFICACY OF VOTE FORWARD PROGRAMS
SUPPORT THE ANALYSIS AND COMMUNICATION OF EXPERIMENT RESULTS AND OTHER RELEVANT DATA
SUCCESSFUL DATA AND RESEARCH ANALYST CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
WORKING AT VOTE FORWARD
THE DATA AND RESEARCH ANALYST POSITION IS A FULL-TIME, REMOTE POSITION. THE SALARY RANGE FOR THIS POSITION IS $70,000 - $80,000 ANNUALLY. WE PROVIDE COST OF LIVING COMPENSATION INCREASES AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH YEAR.
IN ADDITION TO HEALTH, DENTAL, VISION, AND RETIREMENT BENEFITS, VOTE FORWARD'S BENEFITS PACKAGE INCLUDES A PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND, A REMOTE WORK FUND, AND A TECHNOLOGY STIPEND FOR ALL EMPLOYEES. WE HAVE AN UNLIMITED TIME-OFF POLICY, A FLEXIBLE MEDICAL AND PARENTAL LEAVE POLICY, AND OUR OFFICE IS CLOSED FOR APPROXIMATELY 25 BUSINESS DAYS EACH YEAR.
