    VOX Kids Administrative Assistant

    Job Description:

    The VoxKids administrative role is designed to support the Central VoxKids Director.

    Position Summary:

    · VoxKids administrative assistant’s mission is to advance the gospel in the lives of children and families through the organizational and communications support to local campuses and working directly with the VoxKids Central Director.

    Hours: (20 hours/week)

    VOX KIDS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Central administrative tasks and communication needs to support VoxKids ministry at all campuses.

    · Supporting curriculum, purchasing supplies, and supporting/organizing central VoxKids events.

    · Aid in the streamlining of VoxKids operational purchases (cleaning supplies, mass orders, printing materials)

    · Utilize a variety of systems to communicate effectively with the staff team, volunteer teams and members (email, mass mailings, website, social media, graphics, etc.)

    · Be proficient in church systems such as Rock and Planning Center. Responsible for inputting information, running reports, and streamlining data.

    · Aid in the organization of Central VoxKids events (VBS, Family Nights, Camps, etc.)

    · Organization/inventory of central VoxKids warehouse and resource center

    · Participate in the staff life, responsibilities and activities of Vox Church

    Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

    Skills and Characteristics Required:

    · Solid administrative skills to support and facilitate the day-to-day details of a fluid and fast-paced environment.

    · Strong computer skills with specific proficiency in MS Office applications, a variety of social media platforms, and be able to adapt and learn new web-based applications and systems.

    · Flexible and responsible to split hours between office work hours and VoxKids events.

    · Associates degree or 3 years administrative experience

    Physical Demands and Work Environment

    Event planning and executing may require some lifting of boxes or other materials. Should also be comfortable driving and loading a cargo van.
