    Position Summary

    The Global Missions Coordinator at Vox Church will provide administrative support to the Global Missions Director. This role will be responsible for overseeing two main areas of our Global Missions Department: Engagement & Care. Missions Engagement will focus on mission trip oversight and preparation as well as event planning and coordination. Care will include building and maintaining systems and structures for our church to pray, encourage, and care well for our global partners.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Global Missions Engagement

    Organize & facilitate logistics associated with the annual trip calendar with existing global mission trip partners.

    Oversee implementation of a global trip promotional roll-out plan with our Communications Team.

    Identify and develop trip team leaders with consistent enrichment and training.

    Oversee all global missions trip preparation meeting planning logistics as well as all travel arrangements.

    Oversee trip member application process and all administrative elements of the trip placement process.

    Execute all elements of global missions weekend program vision (program implementation, travel arrangements, promotion, event logistics etc.)

    Oversee the creation and sending of a quarterly global missions e-newsletter sent to members of our church interested in learning more about global missions.

    Ministry Partnerships & Care

    Partner with the Global Missions Director to craft missionary support policies that will inform how and when our church supports missionaries along with covenants and guidelines for those we do support.

    Develop systems and structures surrounding missionary care specifically missionaries and their families out in the field and those that are returning home.

    Facilitate initial interviews with potential new missions partners as they reach out requesting support. Compile notes and share with Global Missions Council for consideration.

    Serve as a liaison between our church and supported missionaries to present prayer needs, support requests, and information to our church leadership & members.

    EDUCATION/BACKGROUND

    Some international travel and/or church global missions ministry experience is helpful, but not required
