Campus Next Steps Director:

The role of the Next Steps Director is to foster intentional connections for new, engaged, and potentially engaged Vox attendees through critical relationships and community to foster spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Next Steps Directors help new people discover introductory experiences at Vox. (e.g., Encounter, Following Jesus, Group Link, First Serve). This role has three key components:

1. First Contact: The Next Steps Director is the first contact point for all new connections at Vox. This includes all first-time guests, new team sign-ups, decisions for Christ, etc. They also consistently work through the “engaged” and “potentially engaged” lists to connect people to the church who are currently on the fringes.

2. Front Doors: The Next Steps Director works to oversee a thoughtful, ambitious calendar of “Front Door” opportunities that help attendees build relationships and grow in their relationship with Jesus. The Next Steps Director seeks to FILL every Front Door opportunity, aiming to move people into deeper discipleship opportunities at Vox.

3. Build a Next Steps Team: This team, composed of Vox Church members, works with the Next Steps Director to connect people to the church's life. They serve on Sundays in the lobby at the Next Steps table and throughout the week, making calls and connections.
