POSITION SUMMARY

Removes packed shippers from the end of the line and stacks on wooden pallet.

• Stacks packed shippers per predetermined stacking pattern.
• Operates/monitors case sealing machine. Inspects individual carton to ensure adequate case sealing; manually seals cases as necessary. Clears case sealer jams and performs basic preventative maintenance of the case sealer.
• Monitors legibility and accuracy of case codes applied to individual cartons.
• Initiates changes in case codes as required. Makes adjustment to coder to input new codes.
• Perform machine set-ups and changeovers for equipment. Must be able to perform these tasks within 90 days of placement.
• Secures completed pallets with appropriate wrap. Places pallet labels and all required placards to the finished pallet.
• Relieve team members for breaks and lunches.
• Procures empty pallets as needed; removes finished pallets from the line with a pallet jack.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 3 months – 12 months experience preferred.

SITE OVERVIEW

Voyant's Gainesville contract manufacturing plant is located conveniently in  Gainesville with 450,000 square feet of production space. The facility runs 24 hours at 5 days a week and is registered and compliant with the FDA, EPA, & cGMP. The facility is capable of manufacturing quality products in the following: steel or aluminum aerosol cans, bag on valve, and liquid filling for plastic, glass, or composite containers along with offering many different packaging services.
