The R&D tech position is a temporary opportunity through a staffing agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment (pH meter; viscometer; homogenizer; mixers)

• Comprehension of raw material handling and formula processing instruction

· Ability to prepare laboratory scale formulations

· Responsible for laboratory raw material supply

· Ability to record, maintain, and transfer technical information

· Computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Follow safety protocols

· Other tasks or project as assigned by management.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or GED

· Prior experience in a laboratory setting preferred

· Ability to work with minimum supervision
