VuePoint Diagnostics is seeking a full time Mobile Diagnostic Screening Technician to perform diabetic retinopathy screenings within our Atlanta Metro Area. The schedule will be determined upon hire. This position requires extensive travel during the week (Monday-Friday), often with trips requiring overnight stays.
KEY DUTIES IN THIS ROLE:
- Perform mobile diabetic retinopathy screenings in skilled nursing/assisted/independent living facilities, health/wellness event settings and private residences
- Maintain records of patient interactions and studies performed
- Submit travel and billing logs for procedures performed
- Maintain quality assurance and control of all equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all equipment and company vehicle
- Perform incidental duties as needed
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Healthcare Experience required
- Valid Driver’s License in good current standing with clean driving record
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently
- Strong team player
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic computer proficiency
- Experience performing diabetic retinopathy screenings preferred
