    Job Description

    ROLE OVERVIEW:

    Vuori is seeking an experienced Data and Analytics leader to join the organization as Vice President, Data and Analytics. Reporting to the CIO, this role will drive the vision, strategy, and creation of a best-in-class Data and Analytics organization that enables Vuori to unlock insights to drive critical operational and strategic decisions across all aspects of our business. This leader will oversee the company’s data and analytics functions with a focus on enhancing capabilities and democratizing data to enable data-driven decisions across all levels of the organization.

    As the leader of this team, the VP, Data & Analytics will drive the strategy and direction of the Data and Analytics organization while providing exceptional services and solutions to Vuori’s internal and external business partners. They will have the opportunity to shape and deliver world-class analytical capabilities in support of Vuori’s mission. Immediate focus for this role will be on advancing the Data & Analytics team’s capabilities, confirming long-term architectural direction, developing leading-edge solutions, and creating close partnership with business stakeholders.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Partner with business stakeholders to develop a cohesive vision and prioritized multi-year roadmap to create advanced data and analytics capabilities
    • Collaborate across business units to deliver new and innovated services and solutions that help Vuori to achieve its mission
    • Partner with business leaders to identify, develop, and drive adoption of actionable insights
    • Partner with key business executives to develop and drive a Data Governance framework that enables a common data language and creates trust in enterprise data
    • Continuously innovate the data and analytics platforms and tools architecture to meet current and future needs
    • Build a trusted and highly capable Data & Analytics organization that may include Data Engineers, Architects, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Report Designers
    • Ensure the data and analytics frameworks follow best practices for maintainability, recoverability, and high-performance
    • Implement a right-sized SDLC methodology to effectively and efficiently manage change through a complex business and technical environment
    • Strive for operational excellence in all aspects of the Data & Analytics organization - program, process, team and technology
    • Budget oversight and vendor management as appropriate

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 12+ years’ experience in the data warehouse, data lake, business intelligence, and the analytics space
    • 7+ years of leading successful Data and Analytics organizations with significant experience in building highly adopted solutions that positively impact the bottom line
    • 7+ years’ experience in team leadership and management
    • 5+ years developing corporate KPI dashboards and reports that drive organizational insight from data
    • Expertise in leveraging analytics for competitive advantage and business enhancement across the enterprise
    • Able to translate business strategy into Data and Analytics vision, drive creation and execution of multi-year roadmap
    • Expertise in data strategy, data architecture, data engineering, advanced analytics, data science, data mining, and machine learning
    • Expertise in defining and evolving Data and Analytics platforms, tools, and solutions architectures in an enterprise environment
    • Expertise in implementing appropriate Data and Analytics SDLC methodologies for controlled and iterative development of high-quality solutions
    • Experience implementing an enterprise-level Data Governance program by partnering across the business and using best-practices to enforce data consistency across the Data and Analytics platforms, tools, and solutions
    • Highly skilled at assembling, leading, and growing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, business-focused environment
    • Experience communicating (both written and verbally) to diverse audiences, specifically delivering compelling presentations and telling the story with action-oriented implications
    • Proven track record implementing highly functional/automated operational and support processes in 24x7 global business environment
    • Exposure to a variety of Data Integration/ETL tools
    • Experience with a variety of BI and Analytics platforms like Power BI, Tableau, DOMO, Looker, PowerBI, Alteryx, and advanced statistical analysis tools like SAS or SSPS
    • Experience with a variety of cloud-based data warehouse/platform offerings like Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse, S3, etc
    • Experience with Big Data and NoSQL technologies

    Additional Information

    Pay Range: From $200,000 - $250,000 annually
