As R&D Project Manager on the Engineering team, you will make a positive impact by:

• Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Lead cross-functional teams of researchers, engineers, and other stakeholders to execute projects effectively and efficiently.
• Coordinate and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, resolve issues, and solicit feedback.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages idea generation and knowledge sharing among team members.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate project outcomes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous process optimization.

Qualifications

Qualifications we’re looking for.

• Experience:
  • Proven experience managing research and development projects in a fast-paced environment - for hardware and software projects
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards relevant to research and development activities.
• Skills: * Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage resources, and mitigate risks. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. * Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop innovative solutions.
• Abilities: * Proficiency in project management tools and software. Such as but not limited to Jira and Confluence
• Education: * Bachelor's degree required (advanced degree preferred.
