    VYNYL DEVELOPS CORE SOFTWARE CAPABILITIES FOR LEADING COMPANIES AND INSTITUTIONS IN HEALTHCARE, FINANCE, INSURANCE, AND OTHER INDUSTRIES.

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    We are looking for someone who is excited about the work were doing to help drive our projects forward. The right person for this role will have a mix of business sense, technical sense, and common sense that you would expect to find at the intersection of great product managers, project managers, and account managers. As this role will be focused on our work in healthcare, the ideal candidate will have some understanding of the industry, whether in pharma, health insurance, digital health, wellness, or other.

    As Product Manager, you'll often lead or be involved in the gathering, structuring, prioritizing, and communication of the information driving our clients product development. Occasionally, depending on client needs and other opportunities, your role could also involve agile project facilitation, client relationship management, and contributing to Vynyls community-focused initiatives.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Spearhead coordination with clients, operating as a point of contact for all matters specific to your projects, including among any internal or external developers, designers, or business stakeholders
    • Drive execution by working closely with internal and external teams to ensure products are delivered with consistency and quality, under varying client cultures and methodologies
    • Strengthen relationships with your teams, stakeholders and clients, including with clients at various growth stages, sizes and business models, and with varying product cultures (sales, design, product, or engineering-driven)
    • Communicate project status, both internally and externally, including any product developments, risks, client concerns, and opportunities for growth
    • Exemplify ownership of department and organization effectiveness by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

    As a product leader, you may also:

    • Contribute to product strategy and roadmaps, working with client leadership and Vynyl counterparts to prioritize and translate strategic business goals into actionable product roadmaps and other deliverables
    • Serve as voice of the user by participating in research with users, partnering with various stakeholders to influence product decisions, and establishing key success metrics for products
    • Create documentation to empower your stakeholders, including product briefs, user stories, feature descriptions, user personas and more

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 3 - 6 years in product management or technical project management
    • Strong roadmapping, sprint-planning, and project-management skills
    • A collaborative attitude and a helpful personality
    • Experience working with engineers as customers
    • Strong problem solving and strategic thinking skills
    • An understanding of the professional services industry and comfort working with large and small clients
    • An eagerness to make an impact
    • Low ego, high conviction
    • An understanding of how to be a value multiplier for your teams and clients
    • An ability to thrive under tight deadlines while successfully juggling multiple projects
