    Vyve Broadband provides high-speed data, television and voice services to residential and business customers in rural markets. Vyve Commercial offerings include; Fiber based WAN services, Internet, Hosted Phone as well as Small, Medium Business Modem services. The Sales Engineer Manager supports a team of Sales Engineers that support sales and installations of the Vyve Suite of commercial products. This team is part of our Advanced Commercial Support (ACS) team which work closely with Account Executives and local technical staffs to support sales, design networks, configure hardware, support installation and test commercial telecommunications products.

    Job Description:

    • Hires and Manages team of Sales Engineers.
    • Trains Sales Engineers both technical and sales support roles.
    • Recommends product enhancements and hardware.
    • Manages timelines; designs and implementations.
    • Sales Support on large complex networks.
    • Technical Liaison between the Customer and Account Executive.
    • Reviews/approves Network designs; WAN, Internet circuits, voice services, Wi-Fi.
    • Owns hardware configurations, ensures that those configurations are implemented.
    • Subject matter expert for testing installed circuits/networks.
    • Subject matter expert for troubleshoot circuits/networks during installation and turn-up.
    • Documents network.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manages the team that Installs and maintains customer premise equipment, i.e., routers, switches, and media converters.

    • Manages the team of Engineers that provide and installs data and voice solutions for commercial customers.

    • Manages the team that provide technical support to sales staff in determining possible application of company products to meet customer requirements.

    • Works with vendors and customers to ensure quality installations and maintenance programs for commercial customers in compliance with current SLA’s.

    • Troubleshoots and resolves network performance problems.

    • Generates management reports on various system & network metrics.

    • Maintains oversight of department inventories and system documentation.

    • Travels to systems on a regular basis to provide ongoing customer and equipment support and maintenance.

    • Provides training and support to Sales Engineers and Commercial Services Technician’s.

    • Sales Force reporting/dashboard development for the ACS team.

    • Performs other duties as required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of work experience, training, and education

    • 5 years of business experience in the Telephone, Hybrid Fiber Coax or Data Industries.

    • Networking industry certifications desired (ENA, CCNA, CCNP, Network+, etc.).

    • Demonstrated knowledge of Network Design Architecture.

    • Demonstrated knowledge of various Networking Architectures and protocols; e.g. TCP/IP, CWDM, DWDM, 10/100/1000 Base-T, Wireless, SIP Trunks, PRI, Hosted Voice.

    • Requires ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call times.

    • Requires willingness to travel, excellent interpersonal and relationship skills, and an innovative approach to problem-solving.

    • Must have strong customer service skills and be committed to providing quality service in support of departmental goals.

    • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    • Loading and unloading of parts, tools and equipment required. Bending, stooping, walking, and lifting in excess of 25 pounds required.

    • Working knowledge of OSI Model.

    • Demonstrated experience in designing, configuring, and deploying NID’s, Switches, Routers, and Analog Terminal Adaptors.

    • Demonstrated Personal computer skills with Microsoft Office applications Excel, Word, Visio, etc.
