W. T. Weaver and Sons is privately owned and operated by the Weaver family for over 130 years. The business is one of D.C.’s leading showrooms and suppliers of decorative plumbing and door hardware. Weaver’s focus is on the top architects, interior designers, builders and their clients. The company’s mission is to be the best supplier to the professional building community. Our process encompasses consultation, selection and specification of small and large construction projects related to decorative plumbing and door hardware.

Position:

Showroom Salesperson’s responsibility will be to assist client in their selection process when the visit our showroom .

Compensation: Healthy base salary $35,000,00-$40,000.00 (based on experience plus commission, estimated annual salary $40,000.-$75,000. in first year.

Work schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:45am-5:15 pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist showroom clients in their selection process, including supply proposals in excel format

• Maintain showroom

• Be a strong and effective communicator during the consultation and sales process to the professional building community

• Have a high degree of resilience and determination towards maintaining and growing a client base within the building community

• Possess strong business acumen with an understanding of selling premium products for the custom-building industry.

• Have a high sense of urgency and attention to detail, both while pursuing leads and within projects

• Be a positive and constructive team player within our company. We are all ambassadors of the company. Candidates need to be self-starters that deliver a high level of service.

• A strong professional presence that includes excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, an ability to communicate with a variety of audiences

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

• The ability to read and understand floor plans and architectural drawings is a plus.
