Regional Operations Director
Position Summary: Director of Operations will oversee the business and administrative aspects of the Georgia Region. In addition to managing customer relationships, the Director – Regional Operations must aid in development and execution of the strategic plan, including developing local resources and managing procurement and execution of profitable work.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Hires and trains personnel.
· Organizes and oversees employees work and schedules.
· Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
· Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lead, oversee, and guide the successful execution of both plan and spec and service projects within the region. This includes cost control, project scheduling, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
· Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team of account managers, project managers, field leadership and field staff. Provide coaching, mentorship, and support to promote professional growth and teamwork.
· Develop and implement processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize profitability. Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements as needed.
· Establish and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and generate repeat business. Identify opportunities for expansion and growth within the region.
· Collaborate with the finance team to manage the regional budget, forecasting, and financial performance. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
· Ensure all projects adhere to safety regulations and company policies. Oversee compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
· Contribute to the development of the regional business strategy. Identify growth opportunities and provide input for long-term planning.

Expertise in managing resources, including budgets, schedules, and materials in an environment of multiple, competing demands.

· Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, related field, or equivalent experience
· Proven experience in a leadership role within the mechanical contracting industry
· Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, and plumbing.
· Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
· Leadership and team-building abilities with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
· Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
· Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in the construction industry.
· Availability for occasional travel within the region.

Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
· Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
