Job Summary:

The Cook at the W XYZ Bar is responsible for preparing and serving a limited evening food menu using a TurboChef oven and microwave. This role focuses on food prep, product execution, cleanliness, and inventory communication rather than traditional stovetop cooking.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items using a TurboChef oven and microwave according to standards.
• Complete food prep, portioning, labeling, dating, and proper storage.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify the F&B Manager when product is low.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Minimize waste and rotate inventory properly.
• Support evening bar operations and assist team members as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Food service or kitchen experience preferred; full line-cook experience not required.
• Ability to work independently during PM shifts.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food safety certification required or must be obtained.
• Alcohol service certification preferred or required within designated timeframe.

The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
