    Full-time | Monday–Friday | Day shift

Our Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) directly improves the safety, energy efficiency, and comfort of homes—one household at a time.

    Position Summary

    The WAP Journeyman supports the daily operations of our Weatherization projects under the direction of the WAP Crew Lead. This role involves hands-on construction and repair work to make homes safer, more efficient, and more livable for those in need.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform weatherization tasks following federal and program guidelines

    • Remove and replace siding, drywall, insulation, ductwork, and ventilation systems

    • Conduct air sealing, framing, painting, and general carpentry work

    • Assist HVAC technicians with duct installation

    • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

    • Follow OSHA and company safety protocols

    • Communicate professionally with clients and coworkers

    • Maintain daily attendance and punctuality

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • 3 years of experience in residential carpentry, HVAC, or electrical preferred

    • Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs., crawl, climb ladders, and work in tight/hot/cold spaces

    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

    • OSHA certification or ability to obtain within 60 days

    • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
