    What We're Looking For:

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Secretary to join our dynamic finance team on a part-time basis. The Finance Secretary will be responsible for assisting with various administrative and clerical tasks relating to financial operations. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The Finance Secretary will work closely with managers to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide administrative and clerical support to Wasatch Truss, including organizing and maintaining financial records, and tracking office expenses.
    • Assist with bookkeeping activities, such as processing invoices, and recording financial transactions.
    • Prepare and distribute financial correspondence, memos, and reports as needed.
    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and exercise discretion in handling financial documents and data.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • Proven work experience as a Finance Secretary or in a similar role.
    • Solid understanding of financial procedures, regulations, and terminology.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with advanced Excel skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and the willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
    • A positive attitude, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
    • Dependable
    • Bi-Lingual Spanish preferred but not required.

    Education:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Associate's or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.

    Working Conditions:

    • This is a flexible, but crucial, part-time position that requires someone who is dependable and reliable
    • The Finance Secretary may be required to work additional hours during peak periods or to meet deadlines.
