Job Description

Conducts research, prepares analysis of financial data, and identifies emerging financial trends Performs ad-hoc financial analysis of varying complexity which may include calculations of rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, budgeting, cost analysis, and financial and expense performance comparisons Creates, tests, distributes and tracks financial models, reports and dashboards Exposure to presenting results and recommendations to internal team and executive leadership. Analyzes and reviews data, resolves questions or problems, and implements solutions Oversees the completion of projects or assignments, which may include: planning, assigning, monitoring, reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc. Assisting and supporting the financial planning process and procedures Evaluating data, preparing forecasts, analyzing trends, preparing and distributing financial plans, results and reports for transport stakeholders, while helping them to solve problems and achieve goals Presenting complex ideas, models, plans and reports to small and large groups Skills: Minimum 5-7  years finance or accounting experience required, preferably within the telecommunications industry Intermediate to advanced Excel user with experience creating and maintaining financial planning/expense/cost models Strong excel skills to include Macros, VLookup, and generating graphs and charts Education Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, finance, MIS or a related field is required Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirement
