Job summary

We are seeking a box truck or van delivery driver for local deliveries (within 75 miles of the Cleveland area). Ideal individuals would have at least 6 months delivery experience, air freight delivery experience is a plus.

Job Duties

· Load all orders on truck for that day’s delivery schedule and assure orders going on truck are complete and accurate based on delivery and order reports.

· Assist in warehouse environment when schedule slows or as needed.

· Maintain required job knowledge and skills, attend and participate in required educational programs and staff meetings.

· Pre-trip inspection of fleet vehicle and equipment to ascertain condition, ensure that trucks and equipment are properly maintained, and fill out the daily Vehicle Inspection Report properly each day.

· Communicate effectively with dispatch and with warehouse staff at each delivery/pick-up location in a clear and concise manner.

· Must be able to operate forklift and pallet jack

· Must be able to lift up to 50 to 75 pounds as needed

Qualifications

· Valid drivers license and clean driving record

· Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

· High School Diploma or GED preferred

· Minimum of six months commercial driving experience
