    CIVIL PROJECT ENGINEER

    WDY is an established Portland Civil and Structural Engineering consulting firm with a friendly team-oriented environment. Our Civil department is growing, and we currently seek a full-time, ambitious and confident Civil Project Engineer/Manager with 5 to 10 years of engineering experience in the development of construction documents including storm drainage design and analysis. Candidate should have excellent communication skills, understand land-use and development code and be able to work on a wide range of residential and commercial/industrial projects for both public and private owners. The initial responsibilities will require preparation of construction documents for projects including storm drainage analysis, grading, erosion control, utility design, and delegating drafting and design tasks to EIT team members. Candidate should have experience working directly with project managers, architects, owners and jurisdictional staff. Opportunity for professional growth including potential for firm ownership and client relations.

    Please provide examples of site development and public improvement drawings, at least one storm drainage report, one hydraulic analysis and include other utility reports for sanitary and water.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BSCE required
    • Oregon PE registration required
    • Strong communication skills
    • Proficient with AutoCAD/Civil 3D a plus
    • Proficient with hydraulics design and analysis for open flow conditions
    • Proficient with the design techniques of site and road development
    • Land Development experience a plus
