As a Social Media Intern, you'll help create engaging content for WEBTOON's official social media channels and assist the Social Media and Content Manager to optimize and distribute organic content.
What You Will Do
- Develop creative social media content ideas by reading WEBTOON series and staying on top of the latest social topics and trends
- Assist Social Media Manager to update and track multiple content creation schedules
- Search optimize the existing and new content by updating metadata with pertinent keywords across platforms including YouTube
- Assist Social Media Manager & Specialist with organizing digital assets, updating databases and fulfilling sweepstakes/giveaways
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Who You Are
- Knowledge of social media platforms, including (but not limited to) YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat required
- Deeply engaged in WEBTOON, webcomics sphere online, staying on top of the latest news and trends within the community
- Interest in broader entertainment including video games a plus
- Graphic design & video editing skills a major plus
- Copywriting / copyediting skills a plus
- Follows The Zeitgeist / pop culture a plus
- Ability to analyze social data to improve user generated content and campaign performance is a plus
- Proactive, always proposing and trying new ideas, eager to learn and highly organized
